Think Bubba had a leak??? You ain't seen nothing yet!!! Check out the next 2 pictures with all the goober around the back of the pan and intake. |
A better view of the FIX!. Or was it???? |
Maybe it's the back of the intake? |
I don't think Bubba ever figured out that the rope type rear main seal had shrunk and was causing the leak. Judging by the looks of the bearings he was too busy sticking his foot through the radiator. |
How many butt splices are O.K. in less than 2 feet of wire???? I know copper prices are going up BUT????? This came out of a car that was built by another local shop that cost over $100,000. SCARY !! |
The latest technology from Bubba's Shop. Wait'll they get ahold of this at NASCAR.
Bubba's developed a new FORCED AIR Induction System.
Call us on the details for your application.

This guy should get an award for the most ingenious block plug. A mag wheel lug nut dry pressed into a copper fitting. No soldering or sealant visible. It wasn't leaking but we replaced it anyway. |
Nice new Chrome GO FAST gas filter, Problem was there's nothing inside it, it just rattled??? GO FIGURE. Installed by a competitor. Then again, maybe they're not?? |
Bubba made his own gas sending unit adapter. Had more holes than swiss cheese. Must have leaked as he completely encapsulated it with what else???? GOOBER |
Fractured rocker ball found in Brand new $8,000 motor that a customer purchased off the internet. See the following pics for more good news. The further we went into the motor the uglier it got. The owner now has his attorney dealing with the aftermath. Be careful who you deal with. |
Valve and retainer damage due to incorrect valve train geometry. Talk about a grenade waiting to go off OUCH!!! |
Note misaligned rocker to valve stem. Severely cocked to the right. This should have been caught during assembly. Whad'ya want for $8K???? |
New wilwood residual pressure valve that drove the owner nuts. He finally gave up and brought the car in. It was bad out of the package. Poor guy. |
One of our competitors finest work. Maybe I'm being a bit harsh. After all they only charged the owner $17K to install a new engine and trans. Gotta love that upper radiator hose and the backwards air cleaner. |
After a bit of effort is put forth. |
Nice floorpan hiding under the carpet of a newly purchased Camaro. Must have been 200 rivets and screws holding in 5 different patches. |
New section spot welded in. Much cleaner. |
Door lock opening rod found in newly purchased 67 Camaro. Bubba put a lot of effort into it but it didn't work to well. A new rod was only $8.00. Magically the door now opens fine. |
NICE! 2 lifters out of another Internet motor. This issue became obvious after 10 minutes of run time. Like the first one, this motor also had been DYNO TESTED!!!! Yeah right. |
Bubba's fix for missing brake linkage, Problem is he forgot about the pedal multiplication factor used on the factory setup. Wonder why the brakes didn't work so well??? |
Bubbafied brake pedal assembly just fabricated???? and installed along with a new disc brake conversion. Hmmm the brakes didn't work to well, Bubba must have skipped the chapter on pedal ratios and their importance for proper brake function. |
Picture of brand new wiring harness installed by another local shop. The car came in with electrical issues, GO FIGURE!!! Check out all those butt splices. This is what I call no man's land. If you so much as touch one thing, 3 other gremlins appear. |
Why replace a rusted out brake line when Bubba can just braze over the leaky section? YIKES!! Scary stuff!!! This accident waiting to happen was caught during one of our normal inspections.

Wiring Harnesses found in a newly purchased Cobra with a multitude of electrical problems. There were 3 different factory harnesses spliced together. What a mess!
|
The Cobra's new harness after we cleaned up the mess. |
'62 Karmanghia with the left headlight bucket secured into the fender with "fix-a-gap" spray foam. Must've used about 4 cans.
|
Copper header gaskets?
They are only good for getting your money into the sellers pocket. |
